Strategic Development of “Proyecto Infancia”
Proyecto Infancia is an non-profit organisation that organises photography workshops for children in underdeveloped regions, providing them with cameras and giving them the freedom to show us the world as they see it. PI have conducted photographic workshops with children in several countries around the globe, including Algeria, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Kosovo, Peru, etc.
We have been working with PI since 2010:
- We began with a general strategic review, trying to help them to advance their organisation towards a more impactful new phase – Proyecto Infancia are since working on stepping up their model to ensure their workshops can lead to a higher and more sustainable improvement of the lives of the children they work with
- We have also worked with PI helping them to identfy and put in place new mechanisms to raise funds (mostly with activities in the private sector) to carry out their workshops in different parts of the world
- We have connected PI with the Kenyan non-profit organisation Nyumbani (www.nyumbani.org), who care for abandoned and orphaned HIV+ children in Kenya. PI is now working with the Spanish branch of Nyumbani (www.amigosdenyumbani.es) to organise in 2012 the largest workshop that PI has ever conducted
